Every day I was in FL

I went here.

Ohhh how I love thee Target. One of those special days that I was buying the entire store the necessities, something kinda weird happened. My mom and I were sipping our Starbucks and while we were being rung up we talked about all the goodies I bought and how I would wear them in the frozen tundra Germany.

The checker lady stops and says, "Hey, do you work in Germany or something?"

me: thinking it was a weird way to ask "Yeah, um, I do."

Checker: "Do you know where I can buy a Ratatouille? Or do I have to hop on over to France for that? I think it might be France. Sorry, never mind!"

me: thinking WTH is a Ratatouille? "Well, I have only been to France a few times so I guess I wouldn't be the best to ask."

Checker: "Well, I definitely want to buy one of those Steiff bears from Germany."

me: finally something I know! "That store is near my house!"

Checker: looking baffled, "Ohhhhh. You live in Germany. Like the real place."

me: "Yeah???"

Checker: "I thought you worked in the Germany section of Epcot. Sorry."

Only in Orlando!

On a completely unrelated note....

What do you think of this dress?

We are always told we look alike, so in case ya didn't know...I'm the one on the right.

Obviously you can't see the whole thing, but I loved it. I found it at Ross for $9.99 and I was so excited to wear it out to dinner with my favorite cousin/big sis. Ryan was getting to meet up with us as well which was great since he was working like a bandit while we were there. Anyway, as soon as Ryan saw me I said, "What do you think of my dress??" He said, "Honestly? It looks like you just stepped out of Hot Topic."

Gasp.

Never in my life.

So the rest of the night I was super self conscience about the outfit. What do you guys think? I wore it with black leggings and cute black cowboyish boots. He said he liked the boots. Go figure.

While shopping at home, everywhere I looked I saw plaid. I had to join the club!

*Please excuse the crazy hair in the last picture. Apparently, no one feels the need to tell you when your braid is coming undone.

Hahah definitely only in Orlando.. Your dress is so freaking cute, I've been looking for a red/black plaid shirt/dress/anything for fall and I haven't found one yet. There was a really cute dress at Guess but it didn't fit right. Yours is SO CUTE!

Ok, I really want to see a picture of the entire dress/outfit. However, I'm pretty sure it was totally cute! I've seen that plaid dress somewhere else, but I can't remember where. Oh, and I heart Target!

That is the most random question I have ever heard asked from a checkout clerk. That's so funny!!!

I LOVE your dress!! Anything someone wears could look like Hot Topic if they had the right makeup on-seeing that your makeup and hair were NORMAL-I definitely wouldn't think Hot Topic. But on you, it looks fresh, classy, and super stylish! Keep working that dress! :)

No girl...plaid has totally moved past just hot topic. Its cute, and totally WITH the trends...you are FINE!

I would have guessed Ross, actually. Because they always have lots of outfits like that, there. For cheap!

ps: In that picture, I dont think you guys look that much alike.

pss: I cant believe that girl was referring to epcot! LOL! so funny!
