It's beginning to look a lot like

a Christmas Market!

I think one of my absolute favorite things about living in Germany is the Christmas Market.

Every year they set up booths from different shops from Stuttgart and you can buy everything from hand painted ornaments, to homemade candles, to the typical German sausages.

They have an ice skating rink set up and they sell glühwein.

Glühwein is basically red wine that is mixed with mulling spices and served warm. It's the perfect remedy for a cold German winter.

The market finally opened this week so we went Saturday. Evidently everyone else had the same idea.

I love the holiday season. One of the things that makes me happy is that over here they go all out and really celebrate and get into the festivities.

I hope all of you had a great Thanksgiving! We just spent a quiet evening alone with just our little family. We definitely have a lot to be thankful for this year.

Have a great Monday!

That market looks awesome. What a beautiful place to be for the holidays. So how long are you going to be living there? It's great that you can do that!

Five Guys is a fast food restaurant that has amazing burgers! Greasy, terribly bad for you burgers, but amazing anyway!
